Back in 2024 I decided to take on a task that at the time seemed impossible for a one man operation... a physical catalog. I was tired of all the photography work and time spent building out these collections for the brand, to only have them accessible through a screen. I also knew I wanted it to be more than something that gets tossed after a quick flip through. They needed to be well made, not a stapled pamphlet of glossy pages, something that reflects the level of quality Morris & King is known for, and just like all the physical goods I offer, I needed there to be a limited number of them, something that wouldn't end up in the trash and eventually the landfill.

Most brands have a team, or a dedicated person, building out their catalog each season, and once complete it's sent off to a printer / mailing service that not only prints cheap, but ships them directly to customer's who have signed up, as well as to countless addresses in areas all over the country where they think their demographic (or hopefully future customer) resides. - Since product has been rolling in for the Spring Summer season since January, the last three months has been a busy one. Not only do I need to tackle product shots for the online store, but marketing images for each product, which then works its way into the catalog. Essentially to pull it off I have to create a game plan for all 40 pages, often building out the page and copy before the product is even in hand. It seems like a daunting task, but each night after I put the kids to sleep I spend an hour or two editing and piecing together what will eventually become our physical (and digital) catalog for that particular season. When it comes to sign ups, 50 are set aside for my local customers, long time online customers, friends, and family, while the remaining 50 are put in the shop for anyone who'd like to have one. 

Limited to 100 copies, our Spring Summer '26 Catalog Keepsake showcases (almost) everything that's new for the next six months, but more importantly the catalog itself has become somewhat a personal log for me. I'm able to look back on all the hard work I've put into these pieces (as well as the book itself), utilizing them as a reference point for just how much the brand has grown over the years. - I can't thank you all enough for your ongoing support of Morris & King. The last seven years has truly been a whirlwind (the last six months in particular). There are days I'm not sure how I pull it off, but I must say I enjoy every minute of it. Thank you!
