Our Winter Knit Rugby Shirt's specifically use a woven fabric to trap in heat, and lock in warmth. Each Rugby Shirt features traditional details: Tubular Construction, Rubber Buttons and a White, Cotton Twill Collar.
“For the last few years I’ve been on the hunt for my ideal Rugby Shirt. It was something I had been working on off and on, ordering samples from different manufacturers and suppliers, and up until six months ago I had pretty much given up. Long story short, we found someone who could match our specs, and began the process of deciding on color ways. A few weeks went by, and I was sifting through old photos, when I ran across this one of my Dad from the early 90s. It caught me off guard because I had never seen him in anything other than Max’s Men Store (a throwback spot for you Charleston locals) & Brooks Brothers OCBDs, but there he was in a Yellow / Navy Stripe Rugby Shirt and khakis. Turns out my parents were going on a trip, and because his shirts couldn’t be pressed every day (insert heavy eye roll), he opted for the Rugby instead, a BOLD choice for those of you that knew him. This was wildly out of character, but when I came across this photo I felt connected to him again (he passed in 2018), like he knew how hard I worked to figure out the best Rugby Shirt for Morris & King, so I decided to recreate it.
